Baby Shower

I thre my good friend Dawn a baby shower this week and I kinda went crazy making stuff for her, I am just addicted to sewing lately! And the fabric I found for her baby stuff is absolutely ADORABLE! I just love it!
SO, here is what I made for her:

A bapron...with a pocket that I added

Three fabric diaper burp cloths, they are the best for newborns because they soak up so much.
I used mine so much!

This diaper clutch

And a matching wipes container that I modge podged the fabric to...I wasn't sure if it would work or not, but it did and I love how it turned out!

And this crinkle ribbon thingy, haha. Jaxen has a similar one that my aunt made and he loves it, so I made this one but added cinkley stuff to the inside because he loves anything that crinkles!

Oh, and I just had to make her a tie onesie too! This one turned out better than the last one I made...I like the zigzag stitching on the edge better :)

The shower turned out so good and I had a lot of fun planning it!

I'm just sad we are both moving and NOT to the same place : ( I will miss her SO MUCH, and I won't get to see her new little baby when she has him : ( : (

My 241 Tote and gathered clutch

I found this pattern on Noodle Head and have been wanting to make one for a while, and when I found this fabric I knew it would look amazing as a purse! This was quite the challenge for me, I hadn't used interfacing much and had never done a zipper, but I LOVE how it turned out!

I had extra fabric so I made this matching wallet. It is the perfect size becuase the wallet I have been using doesn't even close because I have so much stuff in it. I LOVE this too!

Both were so fun to make, not easy, but not too hard either!

Quilts

I recently got two quilts that I made machine quilted and now they are finally done! This first quilt I really like because we actually got the fabric and instructions to make the quilt for our wedding 5+ years ago. I thought it was a pretty cool and unique idea for a wedding gift, but it took me 4 years after we got married to finally make it and another year to get it all the way finished. I am happy with the way it turned out and wish I could show it to the person who gave us the gift just so they knew that I actually made it, haha!

This next one was supposed to be a jean quilt because I had a bunch of jeans I wanted to use up, but when I went to JoAnn's to find a backing fabric for the jean quilt I wanted to make I found this fabric and decided to make this quilt instead. My husband was gone for 6 weeks for training so I whipped this one out real quick!
It was fast and easy too because the pieces are so big.
